Flexible Hours

You call the shots here. There is no rule that says you need 8-10 hours of photography at your wedding.

I love offering couples flexible options for weddings. You get to pick how many hours you want and I can just charge by the hour.

If you want a free engagement session, though, feel free to book that 5+ hour package. Already have engagement photos? Use that included hour towards the wedding day, a bridal session, or rehearsal coverage.

We will first meet for a virtual or in-person consultation! I am always down for a good coffee date.

We will discuss all things wedding and get to know one another!

Once the plan is in place (and we fall in love with one another), then you will receive the contract and invoice. When I get those back, then you are booked, my friend!

We then enter the planning stages. I love helping my clients put together a photography-timeline that corresponds with the overall wedding timeline typically created by the wedding planner (if you have one, if not, that's OK too!). The biggest ask during this planning period is to create the family and friends "shot-list" -- this makes that cocktail hour photo time so much more organized.

During our time together you can expect many things; fun, me acting totally weird, and a good mix of posing and candid time. I love to allow you to express yourselves in a way that makes you feel comfortable. I love details, wide shots, smiling-at-the-camera shots, you name it.

If time allows or if you want it at all, I ask that clients put all their details together for lay flat photos.

The rest of the day proceeds like a breeze. I will float along and keep us on schedule. If things happen, we roll with the punches. I am always there to help when the coordinators are busy.

You will get previews!!!

No need to rely on your guests' low quality cell phone photos to announce your knot-tying!

I will proceed to edit and get photos back to you ASAP (usually less than 3 weeks).

You will receive your virtual gallery and everything you see is yours. No picking and choosing required.

Your gallery is also super easy to share with family and friends so that they get the photos they absolutely adore.

Wow! Allison totally blew my wedding photos out of the water! She was amazing at capturing details that I couldn’t see of the wedding day, which was very special to me! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When did you start photographing weddings?

I officially started working big weddings on my own in 2016.

Prior to that, I worked as an assistant and then second shooter for my friend and photography mentor. I scooted out from under her wing and started working as as second shoot for other photographers before completely going solo.

Do you have a second shooter or videographer on staff?

I do not have a videographer on staff, but I am perfectly comfortable finding a second shooter if I think your event requires one. Most weddings really do not need one, but if you are getting ready in different locations or have a large ceremony space that won't allow your photographer to move around, then you might want to consider adding one on.

They would be an additional $75.00/hour.

What is your limit of liability?

This is straight from my contract! Enjoy.

"In the unlikely event that the assigned photographer from the PHOTOGRAPHER is unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to an injury, illness, act of God, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of the PHOTOGRAPHER, the PHOTOGRAPHER will make every effort to secure a replacement. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the EVENT(S).

In the unlikely event that digital files have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond the PHOTOGRAPHER’s control, including but not limited to camera, hard drive, or equipment malfunction, the PHOTOGRAPHER liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the EVENT(S). The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a prorated amount of the exposures lost based on the percentage of total number of originals. The PHOTOGRAPHER is not liable for the loss of images beyond the lesser of the final delivery of all products included in the package or one year."

What is your cancelation policy?

"If the CLIENT cancels the requirements of the event(s) before the date of the event(s) or cancels requirements of services of the event(s) for any reason the CLIENT forfeits all payments made prior to the cancellation notice. All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellation of an event(s) by the CLIENT does not bind or legally obligate the PHOTOGRAPHER to re-schedule. The cancellation conditions above will apply for postponed event/ portrait sessions if the photographer is not able to re-schedule for the new date and time. The fee for postponed or rescheduled event(s) is subject to change.

Any additional payments for deliverables and other services are to be made when any additional orders are placed. Prices for orders placed over one year after the date of the session/event may be subject to change."

How many weddings have you worked?

I have officially lost count, guys.

On top of my own weddings, I have also been working elopement gigs in Hawai'i, which would sometimes mean multiple gigs a day for multiple companies.

Are you comfortable working at a venue/location you haven't worked at before?

I've seen a lot in my few years as a wedding photographer. I've shot on beaches, in the pouring rain, in dark barns, under tents, in large churches and small churches, on mountain sides, cliffs, and in some of the most gorgeous gardens. So...yeah. I'd say I'm pretty comfortable at this point. But I always arrive early to any event (whether I have been there or not) just to get a feel for the land and the conditions.
