If I had to create a list of top ten things that I adore more than anything in the world, botanical gardens would probably make that list. A good time, in my opinion, is wandering around gardens for hours (and taking pictures, of course). So, when Danielle and Mike told me where they were getting married months ago, I was ecstatic!
Spring weddings, as we all know, can be a bit scary -- especially for outdoor ones. Weather is always unpredictable, but if everything works in your favor, then Spring weddings (in my opinion) are the most beautiful. I am also super biased because my own wedding was in the Spring. Why do I love Spring weddings? It is still cool enough to breathe and enjoy being in a dress and FLOWERS. I have a problem, guys; I'm completely obsessed. Give me flowers for days, please.
This wedding had the most amazing weather and venue combination, so the Cashwells hit the jackpot. Not only that, but the bride was gorgeous and the groom was so smitten! I have never seen a groom cry so much! Aesthetically, this wedding was to die for. The floral arrangements, courtesy of Johnson Florist, are some of the most incredible arrangements I have ever photographed. I made quite a few friends throughout this wedding and I am so happy to finally have awesome recommendations to give out (all of my recommendations were still in VA!).
So without too much talk, let's get to the photos. I will make comments throughout the blog, though, because certain moments were my FAVORITE.
If you haven't noticed, I adore this wedding. Can someone say, "New face of the business", much? Because this wedding is now on my business cards and Facebook page.
Oh my gosh, the tulips are in full bloom at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden!
Ignore the hanger...it could not support the sheer weight of the beauty of this dress...
Tearful dads always send arrows through my heart.
Overall, wedding of the century. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these two; they have been together so long and have so many wonderful things to look forward to! Congrats, Mike and Danielle! You were such a pleasure to work with!
