A Walker Wedding to Remember: Prince George, VA
Do you ever just sit and wonder how weird life is? To be honest, I never thought I would grow up to be the photographer at one of my sister's friend's wedding.
I am always so amazed when people request my services. Yes, it's a business and that's what I do, but it still feels amazing when I am chosen to be apart of such a momentous day! Especially when the people I would be shooting for are such incredible individuals.
From the moment I got to know Laura and Fredrick together, I knew their wedding would be beautiful. On June 17th, I was not disappointed!
The wedding took place at Faith Baptist Church in Prince George, VA. So a very intimate church wedding overall. Sometimes, simple weddings are so much more appealing. There is nothing but God and the promise you are making to one another. And when you combine those two indescribable things with the presence of the ones who have supported and loved you throughout your journey; there is just nothing better.
I was blown away by the love these two share for one another. Their written vows left no eye dry during the ceremony. The day started out a little stressed (which, what wedding day doesn't?), but the bride and groom were so happy throughout. Their positive attitudes reflected onto everyone in their wedding party, and it turned out to be such a beautiful day. And it didn't rain until the wedding was over! Always a major blessing.
Here are a few snapshots of the day. Can you not tell these two are so happy to be tying the knot? (And literally...they tie a knot during the ceremony)
THE TEARS. Oh my gosh.
Okay, shout out to this Maid of Honor. Seriously, this girl should get an award. She did such an amazing job setting up, being a great support system, and basically showing what MOHs are supposed to do.
This wedding had so many sweet moments that I lost count. It was so touching and so so beautiful.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Walker! I hope you too have such a fun time in Hawaii and a stupendous life together. Thank you for letting me play such an important role on your big day!
