What I love about photography is that it serves many purposes: to preserve memories, to announce something special, to showcase your art, etc etc. It can even serve as a present, which is exactly what this photoshoot served as for Cesar and Emily!
I met Emily about a year ago when I first moved to North Carolina. She joined my book club and has been my go-to geeky friend (I mean, come on. She even owns a Ravenclaw apron! How sweet is that). Over some margaritas recently, she asked me to help her with a present for her boyfriend, Cesar! Of course I feel so honored when friends ask me to take their pictures, so I happily obliged.
We chose Weymouth Center for the Arts because it is STUNNING. In the beginning of the Spring, there are rose bushes on rose bushes. Unfortunately, Summer has taken them all away, but the property is still so sweet. These two have never had portraits done together before, so once they loosened up a bit, then they were all smiles and all snuggles -- which is always the goal.
THE LAST ONE IS MY FAVORITE. IT IS SO THEM.
In conclusion, these two gave me heart eyes and I am so grateful for friends who support friends. I see a grand future for these love birds, and I hope to take more pictures of them in the future!
Have a fabulous week, everyone!
